My name is Desislava Vladimirova Stoyanova and I come from a family where art runs in our genes and blood. From there I inherited the desire and ability to craft everything down to the smallest detail with a light hand.
Since I was a child, I have been actively involved in art in all its spheres - I have graduated in singing, piano, and pedagogy.
Over the years I have worked in the beauty industry - art makeup, manicure, hairdressing and training. Drawing has always been a great passion of mine.
In 2022, I wanted to create a special gift for a loved one.
To depict my love and individuality.
Then I created my first painting in this style, which laid the foundation for everything to come. The painting depicts two anatomical hearts connected by infinity. In addition to depicting them with 3D materials, I added the magical element for the finish I was looking for... 24 carat Gold!
And why gold?
Because: “You make my heart golden!”
Gold is the most precious and perfect metal, that of the Sun and solar magic, of masculine principles and of all that is greatest and most enduring. It has a divine, solar, fiery and royal character. It personifies brilliance, light, day, fiery and diurnal beginning, fertility, immortality and eternity. It symbolizes magical power, activity, supreme divinity, insight and mind.
Gold is a weapon of light. It is no coincidence that the background of all my subsequent paintings is dark. The paintings depict the darkness and light within us and the World. Yin and Yang.
We all need a "piece of light" to see the beautiful and valuable things in life more often, even if it's dark for us right now.
This is the message I want to convey with my paintings.
"A particle of light from me"!
Over the years, I have painted paintings not only on canvases, but also on interior walls, panels, and human bodies. I have participated in charitable causes, exhibitions, and competitions.
In 2022, I created my own style of art. I needed to create a special gift, and the end result was already in my mind.
I paint my paintings on several types of surfaces - canvas, wood and glass. I use high-quality materials and acrylic paints. In each of my paintings there are 3D relief ornaments, which I build using textured decorative pastes.
The technique is advanced, as I use different types of brushes and tools.
Each detail must dry for a certain period of time. The places where the gold will be placed are prepared in advance with gold paint. A special glue for gold is applied, which is left to dry for about 3-4 hours before the gold leaf is glued. 24 carat gold, pressed into sheets, is glued, then a colorless coating is applied to it for durability.
